Obviously there were cheaper options for other less known hotels, but they were not on the strip and we didn’t have enough time there to make it worthwhile staying someplace else. We used our handy dandy smartphone to check prices on several apps. It’s in the middle of the desert so the temperatures there are unbearable to most, but remember they do have air conditioning. Getting a hotel on the day you need it in Las Vegas on the last minute sounds like a daunting task and an expensive ordeal, but it wasn’t the case. On our way from Los Angeles, California to the Grand Canyon we made a short stop at the fabulous city of Las Vegas, Nevada. National Parks and several cities along the way. On the way we made a few stops at different U.S.
